Experience all of Devonport's
main scenic attractions

The tour commences on the Victoria Parade foreshore at the Bass Strait Maritime Centre, from here we travel towards the Mersey Bluff Reserve.
The wreck along the breakwater that can be seen at low tide is the G.Ward Cole. The Dredge broke its chains in stormy seas on October 29th 1930. Just a short walk from here is the Bass Strait Maritime Centre.

We continue to the Mersey Bluff Beach and headlands, where you can see one of the most picturesque places on the North Coast, with views to the Bluff Lighthouse. This area is a vibrant area with many activities for children, along with a Food and Coffee outlet, there are also toilets and barbeque facilities. Afterwards a walk to the Lighthouse along the rocky pathway lets you appreciate the ruggedness of the Northern Tasmanian landscape.

We then continue along the Coles Beach Reserve through trees and over a small creek. Stunning views across Coles Beach and to the Don Headlands.

The Don Bluff is a stark headland to the west of the old disused port of Don River. In the nineteenth century the Don River once rivalled Devonport and was the major port in the area for outgoing agriculture produce.

We continue along the Don Bushland Reserve to the Splash Aquatic Centre, and further to the Historic Don River Railway Museum, where you can view the workshops and ride a train along the river.
